Small Stories. Big Change.
Parents record themselves reading stories. Children receive the book and an MP3 player, following along with the recorded voice of someone who loves them. Then the children can reciprocate back to the parents. Recorded voices create space for reciprocal exchange: parents give their presence through storytelling. Children receive the gift of being heard and of feeling their parent’s care even across separation. Recorded voices transform separation from absence into connection! We believe that education and literacy are rooted in relationships. When children hear stories read by someone who loves them, they gain more than a lifelong reader: they gain a lifelong sense of being valued, seen, and connected!
